Description

This course provides the student with a comprehensive study of the physics associated with computed tomography. Topics will include: scanner components, digital imaging and imaging steps, radiation protection and helical applications. Artificial intelligence is discussed defining the terminology and its applications in medical imaging.

Prerequisites

Students are required to pass prerequisite courses with a grade of C or higher. Exceptions apply; please consult your department chair.
