Advanced Paramedic Practice

PEM278C - Advanced Paramedic Practice The course is designed to integrate paramedic knowledge, skills and behaviors through practice and lecture. An emphasis is placed on detailed paramedic assessment, diagnosis and priorities in treatment. Students will develop leadership skills in the management of medical, traumatic, and psychological problems. This course will also lead to National Registry written exam preparation. Career opportunities, affective behaviors and preparation for entry into the EMS job market will also be discussed. (Co-requisites: PEM 210C and PEM 164C)
