Course Description
COMM203C - Advanced Public Speaking Through this course focusing on the application of public speaking principles and theories; students will develop skills in the essential elements of public speaking, managing apprehension, the 10-step process for preparing and presenting a speech, listening guidelines, and criticism of speeches. Students will also demonstrate an increased awareness of the cultural and ethical implications of public speaking. Coursework includes a variety of writing assignments, presentations, and speeches. Prerequisite: ENGL 120C
