ADED240C - Advanced Periodontology This course of study expands the student’s clinical development and knowledge of current periodontal therapies. Advanced principles of periodontology for the dental hygienist covers concepts including the role of the dental hygienist in identifying appropriate surgical modalities for treatment of periodontal diseases and providing post-surgical specialized periodontal maintenance care. Discussions are coordinated with experience in a clinical setting.
