Course Description
COMM202C - Intercultural Communication Through this course focusing on the application of intercultural communication principles and theories; students will develop skills in understanding the importance and challenges of intercultural communication, the components of human communication and competence, family roles in other cultures, religion and values in other cultures, cultural history, values and identity in other cultures, verbal and nonverbal messages in other cultures, and managing intercultural differences. Coursework includes a variety of exercises and writing assignments, as well as research papers. Prerequisite: ENGL 120C
