Course Description
PEM135C - Medical Emergencies A comprehensive course that includes the pathophysiology and management of selected medical emergencies. Critical thinking and problem solving will be emphasized using a scenario-based approach. (Prerequisites: all fall PEM courses; co-requisites: PEM 111C, PEM 126C and PEM 244C) Any failure in PEM 126C, PEM 135C or PEM 244C will trigger a failure in PEM 162C (even if a passing grade in PEM 162C has been achieved).
