Surveying (P)

CVET220C - Surveying A course to familiarize students with the equipment, procedures, and methodology of modern surveying practice. Includes measurement of distance, elevation, angle, and direction “in the field” with both manual and electronic equipment. The methods of topographic, construction, and route surveying are also studied. Lastly, the student is taught to use software programs to aid in data collection, manipulation and map making. (Prerequisite: MATH 124C) Note: This course is integrated with CVET 201C and CVET 297C. Therefore, for CVET students, it is recommended this course is taken simultaneously with CVET 201C and before CVET 297C.
