BIOL211C - Genetics A lab course intended to enhance a student's knowledge of basic genetics and to provide the foundation necessary for further studies in molecular biology, cell biology, evolution, systematics, and behavior. Topics covered will include Mendelian genetics, molecular genetics, immunogenetics, genetics of cancer and population genetics. (Prerequisites: BIOL 112C or BIOL 196C with a grade of “C” or higher, and MATH 124C or equivalent or higher level math course* with a grade of “C” or higher; or permission of Department Head of Natural Sciences) *excluding MATH 129C.
