The Computed Tomography Certificate Program is a focused 11-credit post-primary track designed for registered radiologic technologists, or current AS Radiologic Technology students who have completed at minimum the first year of their degree, seeking to specialize in computed tomography scanning. The program prepares graduates with the didactic knowledge, technical proficiency, and clinical experience needed to meet all ARRT certification requirements in CT.
Students engage in advanced coursework on cross-sectional anatomy, CT physics and instrumentation, imaging procedures, and pathology correlation. The curriculum is aligned with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Computed Tomography Curriculum and provides structured clinical education experiences that meet all ARRT clinical competency requirements. Clinical placement is under the discretion of the institution.
